We only collect the information we need to run the booking service:
- Account information — if you create an account, your email address and a password. Passwords are stored in secure, hashed form by our authentication provider; we never see your plain password.
- Booking information — when you book an appointment, your name, email address, phone number (optional), the service you select, your requested date and time, and any notes you choose to share.
- Payment information — if a deposit is required, your card payment is processed directly by Stripe, our payment processor. Your full card number is entered into Stripe’s secure fields and is never received or stored on our servers. We retain only limited, non-sensitive records such as whether a deposit was paid and a payment reference.
- Basic usage information — to understand how many people visit the site, we record anonymous page views using a random identifier stored in your browser, along with the pages viewed and timestamps. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking networks.

- To schedule, confirm, and manage your appointments.
- To send booking confirmations, reminders, and appointment-related messages by email.
- To process deposits and prevent duplicate or fraudulent bookings.

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process your information on the following bases: performance of a contract (to provide the booking you request), legitimate interests (to run and secure our service and understand site usage), and, where required, your consent. You may withdraw consent at any time.
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with the service providers that help us operate the site, and only as needed to provide the service:
- Supabase — secure database and account authentication hosting.
- Stripe — payment processing for deposits.
- Resend — delivery of transactional emails (confirmations and reminders).
- Vercel — website and application hosting.
These providers process your information on our behalf under their own terms and privacy commitments. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.
Cookies and tracking
We use essential cookies and similar storage only. These keep you signed in to your account and store a random identifier used to count site visits. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, marketing pixels, or cross-site trackers, so no cookie-consent banner is required for non-essential tracking. You can clear this storage at any time through your browser settings, though doing so may sign you out.
How long we keep your information
We keep your account and booking records for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, honor appointments, and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information at any time (see below).
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, to data portability, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share it). Security
